The Fusion IP model is to sign long term exclusive partnership agreements with top 10 research intensive universities for 100% of their future IP pipelines and the right to 100% of the equity in the resultant spin-out companies on incorporation. We then align the interests of the academic by giving then a significant shareholding the spin-out company.
This gives us a powerful combination of high quality IP from our university partners, our own commercial expertise and start-up funding, and third party investment from Nikko Principal Investments Ventures (NPIV), and enables us to turn world class research into business.
